Accepting select new customers- Haywood & Buncombe Counties

An experienced, professional, and reliable farrier
accepting new clientele. We have relocated from
White House, TN to Clyde, NC. An accident in May
'06 broke my L leg. I placed and excellent group of
long time customers with other farriers, without a
lapse in their regular, scheduled service that I provide
and manage, when requested. Manage, means I'll
schedule them six weeks in advance. I'll call you with
the amount of notice that you'd like, to remind you of
their due date and let you know when to have them up.
This system keeps your horses "minute man" ready.
Service of that caliber, my constant study, and the skill
of my hands make Redditt Farrier Service the choice for
those in the market for a farrier.
I could possibly work some during the Fall of '07,
I believe it would be most wise to wait until the Spring '08.

I've shod only one world
champion, and here he is,
owned and ridden by
Zach Knowles of Springfield, TN. He also
finished in the top 20 at The National High School
Finals Rodeo, following his TN H.S.
Rodeo championship. All this in
addition to being ranked in the NCHA.
2008 Update! Zach is #2 in the NCHA Youth World Champion Race
"Shoe for Soundness" Dr. Doug Butler That was my mind set before I read it published by Dr. Butler. I'd have added "lifetime " between for and soundness. Professional hoof capsule management should result in a picturesque hoof, given the horses' enviromental
circumstances. Each shoeing is a prescription, it is tailored to the one horse, his environment and use. A hoof capsule, specifically the shape of the hoof, affects each joint and muscle well into the torso. A distorted hoof can cause permanent damage to any of the bony structures above it, over time.
Maintaining a hoof that will allow a horse to be useful for 90 some%, of his life span, demands care by a farrier with the health of the horse at top of his list. That goal is accomplished by professional farriery. That is shoeing, if necessary, that doesn't interfere with the natural function of the hoof. Shoeing must allow expansion and contraction, while controlling wear. When the above goals are met, uninhibited flexion and extension should occur in all the joints above.
